As last year, the named charity contact on our records will receive an Annual Return notification from the Commission. This will be an invitation to complete their charity's Return online or to request a paper form instead.

Over recent years we have introduced a more streamlined Annual Return form for many charities to help reduce the burden of ‘red tape’ and help trustees get on with their day to day responsibilities. We have asked for more information from the largest charities and for essential information only from smaller charities. We’re maintaining this proportionate approach for this year.

You can now complete your Annual Return form online. Simply follow the link to our Online Services Home Page, log on using your secure password and click to complete your form.

You can obtain further advice on completing Annual Return or Annual Update forms by ringing Charity Commission Direct on 0845 3000 218.
