Officers in relation to students' unions means the people who administer the union. Where the union is a charity this will be the charity trustees.
Specified institutions
Specified institutions are the universities and colleges to which the 1994 Act applies. (See OG 48 C1.)
University or college
A university or college meansan educational establishment in the further or higher education sector. (This includes sixth form colleges but not the sixth forms of secondary schools). It may be publicly or privately funded.
